Development Industries, Inc. (DI) Provides Construction Management and Quality Management Services on First Social Infrastructure Building Project in the United States Procured and Built Under Principles of “Performance-Based Infrastructure” (PBI).
“We are very excited to announce the successful and early completion of the new landmark $490 million Los Angeles Superior Court judicial facility in Long Beach, California, and to be the first Construction Management firm in the country to have provided Quality Management in this unique delivery method – a Public-Private Partnership (P3) procured and built under the principles of “Performance-Based Infrastructure” (PBI),” says Dean Maglieri, Partner and co-founder of Development Industries, Inc. The P3 project was Design-Build/ Fast-Track, completed under budget and ahead of schedule on August 27, 2013.
Bill Lavine, AIA, Joins Development Industries as Principal in New San Diego Office
Development Industries, Inc. (DI) is pleased to announce Mr. Bill Lavine has joined our team to manage the strategic, operational and developmental functions of DI’s new San Diego Office. In his role, Lavine will also manage multiple REIT projects currently in design and construction. With more than 30 years of experience in the design and construction management of technically complex buildings, Lavine is also specialized in federal facilities involving a high degree of security. He has recently completed research and training facilities for the FBI, National Foreign Affairs Training Center and has worked on such notable and award winning projects as the NOAA Satellite Operations Center in Suitland, Maryland and the U.S. Consulate in Guangzhou, China.

Development Industries, Inc. (DI) Selected on Anaheim Regional Transportation Intermodal Center (ARTIC) Project Team – Award Winning Design By HOK, Parsons Brinckerhoff
Designed to earn LEED®Platinum certification, the intermodal transportation hub is a sustainable, world-class transportation facility linking commuter and regional rail service as well as commuter and charter bus lines, resort transit, and shuttles and taxis. Future phases will expand the center to accommodate California high-speed rail to destinations such as San Francisco and Sacramento and serve as the terminus for the super-speed train between Las Vegas and Southern California.
